“Maps of Matter” explores the dynamics between colour and form through abstract landscapes and aerial views that reflect the fractal patterns of nature. The repeating patterns found in leaves, rivers, veins, roots and even the structure of our cells remind us that we are part of a larger, interconnected system. Talya’s intention is to evoke a sense of wonder and recognition in the viewer, prompting reflection on how our internal experiences are shaped by the natural environments we inhabit.
